Is AI PDFX free to use?

Yes. Every tool on the site is free, with no account, no trial period and no watermark on what you download. There is no paid tier holding features back.

Do I have to upload my file?

No. The document generators build your PDF in your own browser, and the PDF to Excel converter opens and parses your PDF on your device. Your browser does download program code such as the PDF reading library, but your file never travels the other way.

Which documents can I create?

Invoices, quotations, purchase orders and receipts, each with your logo, itemised lines, taxes and totals, exported as a print-ready PDF.

Can I get a PDF table into Excel?

Yes. The PDF to Excel and CSV converter detects tables on each page, lets you drag the columns to fix them, and exports XLSX, CSV, TSV, JSON, Markdown or HTML. Several PDFs can go into one workbook.

Does it work on scanned PDFs?

A scan is a picture with no text in it, so it needs OCR first. The converter offers English OCR that runs in your browser for pages with no text layer. It is slower and less exact than a real text layer, so check the result.

Is there a file size or page limit?

Nothing is capped on our side, because there is no server doing the work and nothing to meter. The practical limit is your own browser and device memory, so a very large document may need converting in blocks.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. Every tool is built to work on a phone or tablet as well as a laptop, though the PDF to Excel grid is easier to correct on a larger screen.
